When The Eye Has Gone

When The Eye Has Gone

Part of Streamdoor: theatre you can watch from home

“When The Eye Has Gone tells the story of the all too brief life of Colin 'Ollie' Milburn - the cricketing legend who was one of England’s most unlikely sporting heroes.”

Overview

The story swings backwards and forwards in time as he drinks yet another large gin and coke and re-enacts vivid memories including the triumph of his first Test Century against the West Indies at Lords in 1966 and the disaster of losing his left eye in a car accident in 1969.

RoughHouse Theatre, with the support of the PCA, The Hall Post Production and Media, Live Wire Theatre and actor Dan Gaisford would, in this period of national lockdown, love the opportunity to share this 60 minute one person show with you.

Take time to watch, stay well, stay at home and please continue to support the arts.

We offer this to you free of charge. We put our heart and soul into this show.

We hope you enjoy.
