Festivals come in many forms in these strange, unsettling times and the excellent Paines Plough are employing several methods and platforms for delivery for its new writing festival. They include Instagram, Zoom, email, WhatsApp and post. Go to the Paines Plough website www.painsplough.com to find out more about these bi-lingual Anglo-European collaborations that feature the work of Dipo Baruwa-Etti, Calle Fuhr, Travis Alabanza, Magdelena Zarebska-Wegryzen, Giuditta Mingucci and Rosie MacPherson, and the info you need to sign up.

About THE PLACE I CALL HOME Festival

Spanning across Instagram, Zoom, email, WhatsApp, phone and good old-fashioned post, THE PLACE I CALL HOME is a playful digital festival of new theatre that you can access and engage with from the comfort of your own home. Join us for two weeks of brand-new international plays co-written across borders during lockdown. These performances will be delivered to you via WhatsApp, personalised email, and post. Alongside the three collaborations there will be free online workshops for new actors, writers, directors and producers, including Open Auditions for actors currently unrepresented by agents, and open access Q&A’s with nationally celebrated playwrights. This could be our biggest tour yet. Come and join us, we’ll see you at home.
