Swamp Motel’s The Mermaid’s Tongue was one of the early hits of lock-down, a game-playing immersive digital experience that won plenty of fans amongst theatre-goers. So, it should be worth checking out the follow up which describes itself as part theatre, part crime thriller and part night out. It’s the kind of piece that needs to be played in teams and which requires you to interact and solve clues (some from beyond the grave) as you, as the participant of a life drawing class, suddenly find yourself plunged into an underworld involving the art world and a missing artefact.
