About Booster Jab

This collection of monologues and duologues is selected from the ‘Vaccine Programme’ strand of the Tower Theatre’s festival Love [and Survival] in a Time of Covid – playing across three Hackney venues from 25 June – 18 July. The festival invites submissions from the local community in celebration of the human spirit through lockdown, promoting communal healing after a difficult year for all. The Vaccine Programme consists of 21 pieces programmed in 6 performance clusters with performances ranging from works involving professional artists to first time members of the public. The strongest pieces are showcased here in this Booster Jab.
